Waste sorting

We have waste sorting on the premises. We encourage everyone to sort as effectively as possible, as it is beneficial for the environment. Please make use of our guidelines.

Food waste and packaging with food waste

YES, PLEASE
Food scraps and spoiled food. Packaging with food waste, such as a half-filled jar of pesto or a half-filled liter of yogurt. Pizza tray with pizza and a lot of oil should go in food waste. Coffee, tea bags, and flowers.

ALL food waste in the food container must be in a bag tied with a knot.

All food waste is handled by a machine that crushes and sorts the different types.

NO, THANK YOU
Empty packaging and materials without food. Grass - deliver to the compost for grass at the bonfire site.

Residual waste

YES, PLEASE
All the waste that cannot be sorted into the other waste types.

Empty pizza boxes, napkins, wet paper, diapers, coffee and chip bags.

Remember to tie a knot on the bag.

Waste that can be sorted into the other waste types. 

Petroleum cans, small gas cylinders, garden chairs, and tarpaulins should be delivered to the recycling center yourselves.

Metal

YES, PLEASE
​Canned goods, capsules, metal lids, aluminum foil, clean foil trays, and cans. 

Empty and scrape - do not wash.

​Foil trays filled with grease and food scraps (Residual waste)

Plastic

YES, PLEASE
Hard and soft plastic. Plastic trays, buckets, and lids. Packaging from dish soap, shampoo, plastic bottles, foil, candy wrappers, and plastic packaging from food.

Use the waste rack if you bring a small amount of plastic, and use the plastic container in a bag if you have a garbage bag with plastic.

Bags with metal film like chip bags, coffee bags, and paper wine bags.
Plastic materials with hazard symbols (HAZARDOUS WASTE).

​Food and beverage cartons

​YES, PLEASE
Cartons for food and drinks: milk, cream, juice, crushed tomatoes, vanilla custard, and yogurt.

Empty and scrape - do not wash.

Use the waste rack if you bring individual cartons, and use the container for food and beverage cartons in a bag if you have a garbage bag with cartons.

Pizza boxes, disposable tableware, chip bags, coffee bags, and paper wine bags.

Paper

YES, PLEASE
Clean and dry paper: magazines, newspapers, receipts, paper bags, and copy paper.

Wet and dirty paper: wet and sturdy paper such as oatmeal bags, baking paper, kitchen roll, and napkins (Residual waste).

​Cardboard

Clean and dry cardboard, such as corrugated cardboard, egg cartons, and paper packaging. Cardboard and cardboard wine boxes. 

Cardboard boxes should be taken apart/pressed together.

Dirty food packaging. Empty pizza boxes should go in residual waste. Disposable tableware and food and beverage cartons.

Glass

Wine bottles and glass bottles, canning jars, and glass from spices.

Empty and scrape - do not wash.

Porcelain, ceramics, and mirrors. Chemical bottles and light bulbs (HAZARDOUS WASTE).

Hazardous waste

​You must deliver hazardous waste such as spray cans, small gas cylinders, and petroleum cans to the recycling station.

​Textile waste

​You must deliver your textile waste to the recycling center. If you have clothing that can be reused, we encourage you to deposit it in clothing containers.
